How & what do you do Sebum?
Sebum is produced in sebaceous glands by the skin. The meaning in Latin is fat for sebum. It will come out of the skin and coats the hair follicles; you'll notice your hair gets oily after a few days after not being washed.

Sebum is the oily secretion in the skin which keeps the hair and skin moisturized and prevents them from cracking, getting dry, and becoming brittle. Sebum comes from the Latin word "fat".
Sebum is composed of lipids,wax and clusters of dead-fat producing cells.
its is produced in the sebaceous gland and secretes through a small duct that moves up the hair shaft and ultimately rises to the skin's surface, which equals pimples/blemishes.

These glands can also be found in non-hairy spots of the human body such as the eyes,nipples,Labia Minora,penis and nose.
